Delete Your Subtightl Account
You can request deletion of your Subtightl account and all associated data by following the steps below.
How to request account deletion
In current versions of the app: Account → Delete account. Or by email:
Step 1. Send an email to
[email protected] with the subject line:
Account Deletion Request
Step 2. Include the email address of the account you sign in to Subtightl with (Google or Apple).
Step 3. We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email.
What gets deleted
- Your Firebase account and authentication record
- Your credit balance and subscription status
- Your device registration records
- Your transcription jobs, with any audio or transcripts still stored for them
- All personal data stored in our database associated with your account
What is retained
- Anonymised purchase transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for financial compliance purposes
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data
Note: Subtightl does not keep your videos. To transcribe, the app uploads only the audio track; it is held in temporary storage while the transcription runs and deleted when it finishes. The transcript text is deleted once the app has downloaded it. Deleted files may remain in our cloud provider's recovery storage for up to 7 days.
